Background: Corruption at Guyana’s Audit Office

Sharma allegedly placed his son on the payroll despite no work being performed, routinely took his adopted daughter on taxpayer‑funded overseas trips, and allowed senior manager Geetanjali Singh—wife of the Finance Minister—to pack the department with her own relatives. This has created an overwhelming conflict of interest at the highest level of state oversight.
When competent auditor Dhanraj Persaud began following the paper trail and flagging irregularities, he was systematically threatened with transfer, demotion, and termination. Hello and good morning. I have not been contacting you because our computers and network connections are bugged at the Audit Office. We have a lot of ongoing issues because of your posts.
Redundant recently promoted manager Troy Braitwaite suddenly got powers. He wrote Victor Lall, Director, disciplining him because Ms. Geetanjali Singh backs Troy.
He wrote Victor because the aircraft schedule to do a physical with auditors and engineers could not have accommodated a next passenger, which both Victor and Troy were boarded. The other staff was Tiffany Archer. Tiffany’s sister works at audit too — who is Brittney Archer.
Troy is sexually active with both of the sisters along with a next audit staff, a neighbor to the girls.
Because Tiffany couldn’t board the aircraft, Victor was disciplined. Because Troy couldn’t get a free out‑of‑town fuck trip.
